I have been shooting boudoir full time since the end of 2017 and have loved every single second of it. I get the opportunity to work with amazing humans and lean into their body liberation journey. Our shoots are filled with so much joy, love and wiggly bodies and I always leave these shoots feeling so fulfilled. I get so much happiness from being behind the lens and it is something I will do for the rest of my life….no question about it.
The funny thing about this though is the fact that I really hate being in FRONT of a camera. I am just a total spaz, often sweaty and 100% myself (which usually entails too many cuss words and large arm movements). None of those are negatives, but it means that I have never even had the thought to record and capture a behind the scenes video during an actual session.
That all changed when my amazing friend Rebecca (@theplussideofme on instagram) did a behind the scenes look into what a shoot actually looked like. As suspected, there is a lot of sweating, large arm movements and the real cherry on top, a dismount off the bed that rivals most US olympians…..just saying. I hope you get the chance to watch it and see what it’s all about. It has been the best gift anyone has ever given me and I hope you get as much joy out of it as I did.
